What is absolute freedom?
Seeking freedom nowadays is just like chasing a mirage...
We might at times feel free but only two land state to the bondage of another.
Absolute freedom, thus, remains an unending quest due to lack of knowledge.
To understand freedom first we have to understand bondage which is nothing but a state of mind.
There is a Story of an elephant tied to heavy chains. He struggled hard everyday to set himself free but despite of his endeavours failed everytime. One day, he was led untied yet he did not break free because he was under the illusion that he is still tied. The life of bondage was now so much imprinted on his mind that he did not realise that bondage was not in the Chain but in his own mind.
Similarly, the belief of powerlessness is so deeply ingrained that even when freedom is at hand, one is unable to know that.
Possession creates bondage!
the foremost thought that that comes to our mind when we like something is that how can I own it? but can we really own anything in this world?
we came empty handed and will leave this world empty handed not even taking our bodies along with us!
No way a physical object can become part of us. So, whatsoever exists, exists as as an idea or a mere thought! The sense of "My" is just a mental construction that exists as long as our egos exist!
When we free others from expectations, when we stop trying to posses more and more materials and when we start understanding that the true meaning of life is change then only can we be absolutely free!
we have to take a holistic view and understand that we live in a mysterious world of duality and opposites like without experiencing darkness, one cannot know what is light, without feeling hot one cannot know what cold is and without being touched by the warmth of love one cannot know what hate is. All coexist like two sides of the same coin and both are essential aspects of the same reality.
So, acceptance is the ultimate freedom.
take life as it comes.
your mind creates your reality and it can only create a free world for you because freedom comes from within.
